Stalker Arrested Outside of Paris Hilton's Malibu Home

And the scariest part?  This is the same man who assaulted Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend Cy Waits back in April, and he was also charged with trespassing at her Hollywood Hills home earlier this year!

On Monday police arrested 36-year-old James Rainford after he was caught snooping around Hilton's Malibu beach house, and eyewitnesses told The Daily Mail, "He was hanging around on the beach while Paris was inside.  Someone recognized him as being the man who had given her trouble in the past and the cops arrived pretty quickly."

According to a statement released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, authorities were alerted to a "suspicious person standing on the beach" on Monday afternoon.  "The caller stated he believed the suspicious person was the man he recently saw on the news, who attacked Miss Hilton's male acquaintance.  Deputies identified the suspect as James Rainford and determined a valid restraining order prohibiting him from being within 200 yards of Ms. Hilton or her residence was in effect."

In April, Rainford assaulted Hilton's then-boyfriend Waits outside of a Los Angeles courtroom, and several months earlier, Rainford pleaded no contest in a trespassing case after he was found on Hilton's Hollywood Hills estate.  Rainford is currently being held on $20,000 bail.

In other more positive Paris news, the heiress was spotted out on a lunch date over the weekend with new beau Todd Phillips, and if she wasn't over her ex-boyfriend before, she certainly is now!  Last night Paris tweeted, "What a beautiful fireworks show and evening. In bed watching funny movies. Loves it. :)"

Sophisticated Selena Gomez Covers 'Fashion' Magazine

In a recent photoshoot for Fashion Magazine, Gomez proves she is all grown-up and definitely moving past her 'child star' phase.  However, that doesn't mean she's entirely ready to leave the past behind her! "On the last morning [ofWizards of Waverly Place], I cried before I even put my makeup on," Gomez said. "But I wasn't depressed.  It was a good feeling."

Selena also spoke about her transition from child star to a more serious actor/musician and revealed that there is one Hollywood hottie whose footsteps she'd like to follow in.  "I think Shia LaBeouf has made a really good transition," she admitted. "He came from the Disney Channel and he's doing really well."  Hmm...maybe Selena's current boyfriendJustin Bieber should watch out, especially since this isn't the first time we've seen Gomez swoon over LaBeouf!

Selena did take some time in her interview to make jokes about Bieber and his Canadian roots, although she was reluctant to discuss much about their relationship. "He says 'Eh?' a lot," she laughed. "And 'Lookit.'  He says that's a Canadian thing, too, but I don't know!"

Even though our gal Selena is grown up she revealed that she still has some little kid moments. "I was in L.A. in Starbucks when I heard one [of my songs] on the radio," she said. "I was in the drive-through, and I screamed and called my mom and I was crying.  It was a huge moment for me.  The server probably thought I was an emotional teenager going through something."

Katy Perry Arrives in Brazil in Carmen Miranda Mask!

The E.T. singer happily greeted her fans, but hid her face in a Carmen Miranda mask, complete, of course with the image of the fruit that Miranda has made iconic.  Katy wore a black and white polka dot dress with her blonde-and-pink hair pulled back into a bun.  Her entourage also donned the masks and all looked totally happy to be in Brazil wearing the funny disguises!

The singer is in Rio de Janeiro to perform at the Rock N' Rio Music Festival, which is one of the largest music festivals in the world and usually has an audience in the hundreds of thousands.  Of course, it's no surpise that Katy Perry is performing at an event of this size.  She has become the first female to ever have five singles off of one album, all from her latest album, Teenage Dream.  On top of that, she also won the honor of Video of the Year at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.  She even tied Michael Jackson's billboard record!!

Despite her success, Perry still knows how to keep things grounded, along with the help of her husband of almost a year, Russell Brand.  However, the duo has had to spend quite a bit of time apart this year because of conflicting schedules, which has sparked rumors of trouble in paradise for the couple.  Uh-oh!
